My real name is Godly. The one and only! If you find someone with the same name, please please let me know. I say real because, let’s face it, we all have an alias. My alias is Monica. I give that name out when someone asks for my name and I’m not wanting to keep in touch. That way they can’t easily find me. Or worse, Facebook stalk me 😜. But I won’t go into that right now.
A little bit about me: I married my childhood sweetheart, I’m a proud mum to an intelligent young boy, a floral student, a born and bred Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs supporter, a previous student from the Sydney Kettlebell School of Strength 4 Women (SKSS4W) with a passion for kettlebells, crazy in love with my high school fave R&B artist Marques Houston (who only those obsessed with the 90’s can relate to) and recently started playing sport (this is a first for me as I was never into sport at school). I’ve dabbled in Volleyball, Netball & Soccer.
I have a passion for life, love, faith and all that fluffy shit. I’m also passionate about a lot of things. This is supposed to be an intro about me. My blogs will go into more detail about these and anything else that life throws at me!
I like to spend my weekends with my family. They sure keep me busy but we have a lot of fun and I love making memories. My son always asks me “Mum, why do you take a photo of everything?” To which I reply “To capture the moment.” I love to cook a mean Jamie Oliver meal or bake with my boy. My hours are spent teaching him all about what life has to offer. Being independent, learning important life skills and knowing how to enjoy life. I’m no expert on life, parenting, cooking or sport but what I live for is to make every day count and live with no regrets. #LifesTooShort
I never went to uni, never really did that well at high school either but I have learnt a lot in my 32 years on this planet and I think, that still counts for something. I don’t claim to know everything but I do know something about a lot of things. I will say though, I believe that everyone has the right to their opinion. You may not like it, but that’s your opinion. You may not like what I say at times and that’s okay. I will ask that you be honest and true to yourself. Comment if you must. Have your say and don’t be afraid of what others may think. This is why I’m starting my blog. For all those thoughts in my head must be in someone else’s too. I just want to release it into the World Wide Web and hopefully one day, my son will read them. Like a diary of my life. My legacy perhaps.
